What to bring, what happens, and what nobody tells you beforehand
Two things are non-negotiable, and forgetting either means a wasted trip:
We check both every visit — not because we don't recognise you, but because the state requires it and our licence depends on it. We cannot make an exception, and being asked on your fifth visit is not us being difficult.
Worth doing before you set off: look at today's menu. Stock moves, and it saves a wasted drive if the thing you had in mind sold out this morning.
The single most useful thing you can say is the truth: “It's my first time and I don't know where to start.” Nobody will think less of you, and it gets you a far better conversation than arriving with a strain name from the internet.
Things that genuinely help us help you:
What we cannot do is tell you what will treat a condition. We are a retailer, not a clinic — that conversation belongs with the practitioner who certified you. What we can tell you is what a product is, what is in it, who made it, and what other patients have said about it.
The most common first-visit mistake is buying too much of one thing. You do not yet know how a given product suits you, and cannabis is not returnable. A single eighth or one pack of edibles is a better first purchase than a stocked-up haul, and you can always come back — we're open six days with Sunday afternoons.
If you're starting with edibles, read the onset timing before you take one. It is the thing people most often get wrong, and the mistake is unpleasant rather than dangerous.
Mississippi measures purchases in MMECU, not dollars. One MMECU is 1,000mg of THC, or 3.5g of flower. Formats are counted differently, so two purchases at the same price can use very different amounts of your allowance.
Every product page here shows its allotment cost alongside the price, and your cart keeps a running total. If you want to plan before you arrive, the allotment checker works out a specific basket.
Your MMCP card and a government-issued photo ID, every single visit — there are no exceptions and we cannot serve you without both. Bring a payment method that works for cannabis retail; ring ahead if you are unsure what we currently accept.
Yes, but only cardholders 21 and over can enter the sales floor. Anyone without a card waits in the lobby or the car. Under-21s cannot come in at all, including children.
Budget 20 to 30 minutes. Check-in takes a couple of minutes, and the rest is you asking questions — which is what the time is for. Regulars are often in and out in five.
No, and most first-timers don't. Telling a budtender 'this is my first time, I don't know where to start' is a completely normal opening and gets you better help than naming a strain you read about online.
This page is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. Cannabis affects individuals differently. Consult the practitioner who certified you regarding your own use. Mississippi MMCP card and government-issued photo ID required for purchase; must be 21 or older.
